Scope: First-generation tenant improvement build-out

Challenge/Results: We transformed a raw space into a stunning, nostalgic headquarters for a legendary, multigenerational Denver business, The Gart Companies. The lobby warmly welcomes guests and employees in, leading to spacious executive offices, a cozy library and an open lounge. Rich woodwork and ultra-high-end finishes meticulously installed throughout the space provide a backdrop for family heirlooms that span generations. The most challenging (and exciting) technical elements of this project included significant structural post-tension concrete modifications – which created an outdoor patio space for Gart Companies – as well as the extensive exterior curtainwall and glazing modifications that were necessary as a result. The finished product creates the inviting indoor/outdoor experience today’s office employees seek.
