Scope: Full restaurant buildout in first-generation space
Challenge/Results: Working on a restaurant build-out in a restored historic building creates both challenges and opportunities. For their first Denver outpost, Two Hands engaged our team at Taurus Builders as the General Contractor on a property they’d identified at a prime intersection in the Tennyson neighborhood of Northwest Denver. Previously home to a furniture store, the building had suffered a fire in 2016 and had recently been renovated by the owner to support a mix of F&B tenants. With almost zero space for staging materials and overlapping trades, the space required extensive planning and a high degree of communication between both the clients and trades throughout the project. The result is a beautiful, bright space with custom woodwork and tilework throughout, an inviting bar, an open kitchen and cozy dining areas that are sure to make Two Hands a welcome addition to the neighborhood.
